Hip-Hip Hooray! It's our 100th school day!
Today was our 100th day of school which means my students are 100 days smarter :)
Their bottle projects came out great. We had a lot of fun guessing and sharing what was inside of them today during math. Throughout the week, the students will also be working on a list of 100 words they can write.
Happy 100th day of school!

CHICKS
So, I know I am a little late with this post and I do apologize.
The last few weeks--in between our snow days--we were learning about birds, specifically chicks, and their life cycle. We had the great experience of getting some eggs and being able to incubate them and have chicks hatch. It was a lot of fun and an experience the students always remember about 1st grade.
Here is the presentation Ms. P did for us:
And the chicks: Were lucky enough to hatch 4 out of 7~3 girls and 1 boy. The students named them Sara, Fluffy, Bella, and Mario :)
